A waterproof membrane is a thin membrane that is made of waterproof material like Polyethylene, Polypropylene, or Polyurethane which will be laid over the surface. The waterproof membrane is also called a waterproofing sheet. These waterproofing sheets are laid over the surface or slab to make the surface fully waterproof. A small slope has to be made with the help of filler material which is laid over the surface. Over the slope, a waterproof sheet membrane has to be laid for maximum functionality.
The slope is needed to make sure the water flows into drainage or to a storage area. The typical thickness of the membrane is about 2 to 4mm. We manufacture sheet-based membranes under the Cell O Con brand where the Membrane is sold in rolls. Our waterproof membranes follow the standards ASTM C1127 (Standard guide for the use of high solids content, cold liquid-applied elastomeric waterproofing membrane with an integral wearing surface), ASTM D3393 (Standard for coated fabric waterproofness), and IEC 60529 (Degree of protection provided by enclosures (IP Code))
